On Utah's freezing Christmas Eve afternoon this family got together to take their first family pictures in over 10 years. I couldn't have been happier to have had the company of such a wonderful family. Thank you all for your kindness and patience this holiday season. 

McDermeit Family

Jen and Derek knew they wanted children, the exact number varies, but the pitter patter of little feet was a must. Last May, on my birthday as a matter of fact, Derek called and made the big announcement. All we had to do was wait. 

Living out of state, away from family, on top of it all pregnant Jen pushed through to her due date. New years day Jen and Derek entered the hospital full of emotion. After 48 hours of labor pains and stress of the unknown, Caleb arrived. 

Two months later I am finally able to meet my nephew! He is such a doll and I am so excited for this new adventure Jen and Derek have entered. I am excited to see what is in store for your family. We love you! :) 

Calia: 18 months

 After hanging out with Calia, all the stress and worry of the day melt away. This little lady's smile and personality out shine everything in the room. A bad hair day or missed breakfast wouldn't stand a chance against her. 

I have never seen a girl laugh so hard at here mama. Near the end of our session she started posing herself, and choosing locations. Thank you Liandra and Alex for sharing Calia with me :)
